Riverhead Charter School on the Rise: Climbs to #42 in New York State

Riverhead Charter School is proud to celebrate an exciting achievement! According to the 2026–27 U.S. News & World Report rankings, the school has climbed 15 positions, moving from #57 to #42 among middle schools in New York State.

The school is now ranked #3 among middle schools in Suffolk County and is one of only two Long Island charter schools included in New York State’s Top 50.

This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, families, teachers, and staff. Congratulations to our entire school community on this outstanding accomplishment!
